Last weekend I put this backpack through a test and I am happy to say that it did very well. I purchased this backpack for my trip to Thailand to keep stuff dry as we walk around in the rain, so canyoneering near Payson, AZ was a good way to test it. It floats very well even when fully loaded due to the trapped air and tight seal. One wish I have is for a way to integrate a Camelback type bladder to use instead of the bottle holders on the side.
