As TFL reports - The 2012 Jeep Wrangler finally gets the new Chrysler Pentastar V-6 285HP and 260TQ engine and 5 speed automatic or 6 speed manual transmission to not only compete in today's crowded Crossover and SUV segment, but rule the off-road world. More power and torque, better gas mileage and the same base price.
Now only if they made a turbo diesel version JK... I will keep on dreaming until then.
This fiberglass and wood camper is designed for two person expeditions. It is built on top of a Wrangler Unlimited and includes everything for a nice little camp out expedition run. However it is built in Austria and the cost is roughly $54000

American Expedition Vehicles makes some awesome products, but the Hemi and Brute conversion is where they stand apart from any competition. Here is their new addition to the Brute conversion family, the double cab. This new extended version is based on the newest Wrangler Unlimited chassis and is 30 inches longer, with 23 more inches between the wheels and a small frame extension to accomodate the 5' x 5' bed, fold-flat rear seats for extra storage or seating for five when necessary. And of course it features the 6.4L Hemi for insane horsepower and torque. Now if only they stuffed in a nice big turbocharged diesel into one of these...
